@birdfrenn@clernck Don't forget Tobacco's solo stuff too! It was post BMSR but some good stuff in there. Stretch your face was pretty prominent in the show Silicon Valley.
@ScudlyDoRight@clernck "Thanks to our friends in the marketing research dept, we just need a ton of acid, ambient synths, and a mysterious guy in a weird mask on avocoder. This is obviously how PBR wins!"
@theistinthought These work perfectly well for all the old ladies in the neighborhood. Bulk items can also be delivered via amazon prime, walmart+, etc. Also, in a walkable city you dont need to buy 8 bags of groceries at a time unless youre throwing a party.
@michaelmiraflor I can see how a tourist would think that, but line culture is mostly for recent transplants and visitors. Its heavily concentrated in Manhattan as well. Get like two stops out into the boroughs and the lines mostly disappear.
@IJoukov@gaiaslastlaugh These are like $30 on amazon. If you absolutely must, you can load up on the the non-persibles and freezer stuff one every/every other week. Then just grab fresh veggies/meat/dairy/etc. as needed when you're out. You should go for daily walks regardless.
@PeeveyThirza@GeboMpls@MNTwilghtZone You know we have advanced weather technology at our finger tips now. In advance of inclement weather we can just buy more food. Otherwise, when the apocalypse isn't happening we can go to the store 100 yards away and get fresh items, as needed every few days.
@makebelieveleaf@offbeatorbit Yea, i used Blog Haus as a catch-all, but there were the Blog Rock bands too. BTW, Nic Offer is still around in BK. He has a new band Off Pink that plays live every now and again. There was also the knife, lykke li, PB&J, Miike Snow, Robyn, etc. stuff that preceeded stomp clap.
@formerlyed This is really a question of population density/access. The further out you get, the further away the food is and the fewer the options are. In NYC, i can shop/live like a european. Out in the sticks, i gotta drive 20 minutes to the Super Wal-mart and take what i can get.
@Captain_C2@alisha_hg Not sure how things work in Canada, but we can supplement with Amazon Prime/Walmart+ whatever we don't get fresh every few days from one of the 5 grocery stores in walking distance.
