Parks and Rex! 🏕️ The King has spent time at Shenandoah National Park in Virginia’s Blue Ridge Mountains and Appalachian Highlands.
⛰️ The Blue Ridge Mountains are among the oldest in the worldand the Appalachian Highlands were, remarkably, once connected to the Scottish Highlands as part of a single mountain chain.
Conservation efforts at Shenandoah include those aimed at preserving the iconic bald eagle, which was at risk of extinction in the mid-1900s. 🦅
Ossoff: Was it the assessment of the intelligence community that there was an imminent nuclear threat posed by the Iranian regime?
Gabbard: The only person who can determine what is and is not an imminent threat is the president. It is not the intelligence community's responsibility to determine what is and is not an imminent threat.
Ossoff: It is precisely your responsibility. This is the worldwide threats hearing where, as you noted in your opening testimony quote, you represent the ic's assessment of threats.
I don’t want to be accused of being silent on this. I completely condemn US involvement in Iran. Trump’s statement was absolutely outrageous, and this has nothing to do with US national interests.
As a political realist, I don’t mind doing seemingly nonsensical things from time to time in order to get something in return, but there’s nothing that Israel can give to us here— there’s nothing we need from them that they can provide.
Things like this are a gift to the very worst characters in American politics, such as Lindsey Graham and Mark Levin. The American people are sick and tired of doing the bidding of leeches like the state of Israel. The result is going to be more chaos, more refugees, more destabilization, more debt.
America is breaking apart at the seams, and the Trump administration is unwilling to take extraordinary action domestically— but it seems it can be pressured to take extraordinary action internationally on issues that don’t benefit the remnants of America.
You should be furious.
Charlie Kirk, in June of 2025, explaining why a massive US war against Iran, and an attempt to facilitate regime change, as pushed by people like Lindsey Graham, is "pathologically insane":

want multiculturalism and modern social arrangements." pg. 182

Complementarians: “Unless it’s Monday thru Saturday. Then it’s fine.”
@grok@IanHuyett@4nt1p4tt3rn Which would make the provision of warrantless arrests worthless if the rest of the system is set to make the risk too high to not get them.
