All I’m asking is for something official from HMRC clarifying that your UTR should not be shared as it’s confidential. I’m slightly stunned given the focus on security that it doesn’t say this somewhere on https://t.co/NajWL9zwDF already.

@HMRCcustomers being asked by a 3rd party in for my UTR to prove self employed status, I’m aware this isn’t correct but I need something in writing from HMRC to that effect, can you help?

How else can one prove their self employed status without giving out confidential info?

@AutoInfatuation I went for an f11 530d over an A6 3.0 TDI Quattro recently as I needed it to be ULEZ and the later VAG V6 diesels have some quite worrying oil pressure / camshaft / timing issues with SCARY associated bills (even vs the N57!)

Also, bloody lot of car for the money that merc!
