Extremely excited to share that Pranit and I are backed by @a16z@speedrun to help solve some of the toughest challenges in deploying hardware
The world of robotics and autonomous machinery is hitting a point of inflection. More and more of these machines are going to be deployed over the coming years but there is still no good answer for how to keep them running at scale. We help maintain these fleets throughout their entire lifecycle.
Pumped to be working in this space and working with customers at the cutting edge to help shape the future and thanks to a16z speedrun and the whole team for believing in us
Reach out if you are dealing with this problem or if you are looking to work in this space (we’re hiring!!!)
I'm excited to officially announce that @TheRobertDoh and I are backed by @a16z@speedrun!!
I deployed AI inside complex industrial operations at Palantir. Rob ran Citadel’s infrastructure & data center operations. Now we are applying what we learned to America’s next generation of machines and hardware.
The world of machines looks very different today: autonomous cars are on every corner of San Francisco, security robots patrol facilities, mining equipment excavates autonomously, and tons of materials are moved by driver-less forklifts. Building these machines is hard, keeping them running is even harder.
Machines tested in labs don’t work in the field. The technicians maintaining them are servicing technology that did not exist five years ago. And every breakdown still requires a human under the machine.
At Motherboard Labs, we're building the platform that keeps these machines running and we’re already live with commercial fleets in the field today.
If you are running a fleet of robots or machines, DM us, we’d love to talk!
Thank you to our early believers @far33d, @tkexpress11, @Tocelot, @andrewchen, @kenanhsaleh, @JoshLu and the rest of the a16z @speedrun team! @_CallMeMacy and team gave us an unfair advantage and @tmhammer made sure I can build this company from here. We couldn't have asked for better partners at this stage!
People often ask me what is an FDE? An FDE is someone who sits with the customer, inside their operations, implements the product, gets feedback, fills the gaps, and iterates so rapidly that the customer starts seeing value immediately (not 2 or 3 months from now). They own the outcome.
Here is @TheRobertDoh live from one of our customer deployments, crushing it!
