Political opinion is like a swimming pool.
Most of the noise comes from the shallow end.

@JRUrbaneNetwork Can't say too much as I work on OL and GO (and am very proud of both projects).
I do fully agree that Canada pays far too much for its infrastructure. France built the Rhine Rhone LGV for 16.5m euros per km - all 140km of it at a cost of 2.3bn Euro! Imagine HFR at those costs!
@fordnation Sick of traffic? More bike lanes, more transit and downtown car toll zones.
Kids safety? Less traffic. See above.
High cost of living? Build dense houses near transit with active travel infrastructure. See above.
Cities in Ontario have seen an explosion of bike lanes on major streets, which is making gridlock worse.
Premier Ford and our government are standing up for drivers and bringing common sense to municipal planning of bike lanes.

@PrabSarkaria@TheThanigasalam@CHogarthPC "Too many households across Ontario are not receiving post on time due to a lack of post-service capacity, and emails are making things worse.
Next week we introduce legislation that requires provincial approval for new email addresses for people who have access to a letterbox"
@ProgressiveRug Manslaughter carries a lower scentence than murder.
The difference is intent.
Accidental incidents are by definition unpredictable. By all means remove a player from a game for intentional foul play. But doing so for an accident is unfair and detracts from the sport.
@liamdahl - New Line 8 east west from line 7, through line 1 at College, East via Line 3 along lakeshore, beaches etc, connect to Lakeshore East GO
- Possibly convert Richmond Hill line to Subway, and extend down through portlands to lakefront, Islands, Billy Bishop, & up to Exhibition.
@PJJMD Dude, this is a very bad take.
There will be a train arriving every 5 to 7 minutes with capacity for 2000 people, plus an Ontario Line train every 90 seconds with 750 person capacity. That's 91,500 people per hour.
That's enough capacity to support simply *huge* density.
@RM_Transit Everything between Spadina, Queen, Yonge and Front should be semi-pedestrianized, with dedicated streetcar lanes, proper streetcar "stations" rather than stops, and on street premises for cafes and restaurants, plus a hub Station at Spadina and Front with integrated streetcars.
@_ChanFace Being developed outside of the scope of the project and therefore not in the render. Stations are being designed to incorporate future development on top of them.
