The REMI arrived on site @EuropeanXFEL in Schenefeld mid Jan. After 2 weeks of installation and 2 weeks of outgasing at high temp, the desired ultra-high vacuum of 1e-11 mbar was reached. 💪💫🌡️

Continuing the baking theme, our engineers have been baking the MAST Upgrade tokamak to meet a major milestone in commissioning the machine. No cakes involved though; heating the vessel to 200 degrees C cleans the interior and enables the ultra-high vacuum required for operation.
