@NYNJHarper I still watch, but these days it’s usually on a secondary screen. Unless/until I see things going the Mets way, then they get promoted to primary screen. I miss picture-in-picture in my TV.
@TheRickWilson I went to his AC casino once to try out for Jeopardy. After the tests, I walked around and only played some roulette. I hit my number on the second spin. I quit about $70 ahead. So in my only “business” interaction with him, I won.
@muheediva01 If it’s a weekend, turn on my computer (my fifth at that point) and dial into AOL and see if I have any messages from my friends. If not, go to work and turn on the two computers on my desk.
@thecomputerclan True. One of my favorite channels @redlettermedia does that. In between horrible jokes about terrible movies they fade to black and put the breaks there. Makes sense to keep control of that part of the experience.
@thecomputerclan No, I get you. In 2024 they over-promised and got everyone excited. This year, they just kept it calm. Do you remember how some of the skits and other bits did? Mother Nature, hydraulic presses? Not well. Cut ‘em. Unless they were all just sad it’s Tim’s last WWDC as CEO.
@thecomputerclan It’s the true mea culpa for two years ago. Just show off the features they know they can ship, don’t get people too excited, and they won’t disappoint in September. They can announce hardware with a press release, this is the important stuff.
@PuddlesPityP Wonderful set at the Hard Rock, loved it. I was sad when the Cry Cam didn’t work. Probably too much interference with the audience phones. Try a wired camera?
