Thank you to @animalsofpnw for the review! We're glad you enjoyed it! For those of you who haven't yet watched the film, a lazy weekend is the perfect time to do so! 😉 Find us on @netflix@amazon and @iTunes
We’d like to thank everyone who has watched @WildFilms_Ltd@Tigers_Scotland documentary and to everyone who has donated to the project! A humbling total of over £5000 in November alone. Thank you all from the bottom of our collective hearts 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
In May, our director was invited to document the @SierraLeoneMara for @streetchilduk. We've just learned that the film has been nominated for an award! Please vote below - this shortlists the nominees for the final judge's decision. Thanks in advance!

@LeafyHistory Yes, that's the hope. Hybridisation has happened because there simply weren't enough wildcats to mate with each other. Trying to control it is hard though - some feral cats will take hours to trap for neutering while others can take weeks, so it takes up a lot of time & resources
@LeafyHistory The problem is we have ~4,000 feral cats and ~430,000 pet cats living in Scotland but just 100 Scottish Wildcats. So it's not really a short term problem, not unless serious work is done to reduce the likelihood of interbreeding, but this takes time, money and lots of volunteers
@LeafyHistory Hi Lee, we appreciate that there might not be as much footage of cats as people would like, however these are extremely elusive creatures which makes them difficult to film. There's still much research going on into wildcat genetics, but many European countries have similar (1/2)
😻 SCOTTISH WILDCAT KITTEN BORN 😻
They are Britain's RAREST mammal and only 100 remain in the wild. That's why this little kitten is so incredibly special...
We just wanted to say a big thank you to 11-year-old August Lechner, who after watching @Tigers_Scotland documentary on @netflix , decided he wanted to donate money to the project so he did. Paws up to you August! 🙌🐱🐱🐱
The website is now back online! Featuring minor updates and improvements across the site, we'll continue to tinker with it over the next few days to iron out any bugs. Thanks for your patience and understanding.

The film's website may be down during the next couple of days for maintenance - this may affect our emails too.
Please check back later in the week if it isn't working, and should you wish to get in touch you can do so via Twitter or our production company @WildFilms_Ltd

@Pacificant@SaveOurWildcats@NetflixUK@iTunes@GameOfThrones Glad you enjoyed the film! There are indeed some very dedicated people working hard to save this beautiful crearure, some as their daily job and others who live alongside the wildcats and manage to help around their normal routines. 🐾❤
