@CivGame Great job! I liked Civ 7 just as it was but i'm certainly looking forward to this big update. I been playing this series since Civ 1 and enjoyed them all for hours on end.
I started gaming in the early 1980s, but my formative years were definitely the 1990s.
For those of you who were active gamers back then - if you had to pick one game from the 90s decade that has been hardwired into your brain until the end of time, which one would it be?
@perceivinglight@clemmygames Sadly this is part of the problem. Steam is great on one hand. On the other hand, Steam SALES are toxic for game devs. It has effectively lowered the value of games to next to nothing. So players don't want to pay jack shit anymore. Oh...just wait for a sale.
@clemmygames Making a game is not necessarily difficult. It's making a GOOD game that people will actually buy and play, that's what can be extremely difficult. Good games can take years so be prepared to give up a portion of your life and even relationships can suffer. It's a tough road.
@pcgamer The price of pc game pass has tripled since when I first got my subscription. It was 6 years ago and I got it for Flight Simulator 2020. I can't believe it's been that long already, how time flies. Anyway, I kept the subscription this whole time.
@TheGoldenDays I started with 3.1. I also can't help but notice the logo comparisons. In the end with 8, 10, 11 the design seemed to go back similar to the original.
