A severe thunderstorm watch and a tornado watch have been issued for parts of Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming until 8PM MDT! Very large hail, damaging winds, and a few tornadoes are possible. #COwx#NEwx#WYwx
🚨🚨🚨Holy shit: A father of a child who was killed in the Uvalde school shooting SLAMMED Texas legislators for their “useless thoughts and prayers.”
Brett Cross boldly testified in front of a Texas House committee in support of legislation that would raise the minimum age to buy semi-automatic weapons from 18 to 21.
Brett Cross: “I'm so sick of hearing those three words from our elected officials…
While your prayers may have comforted you, they did nothing to absolve our pain...
Your thoughts and prayers didn't stop an 18 year old from purchasing two high powered semi automatic rifles and all of those rounds of ammunition.
Your thoughts and prayers didn't stop us from having to bury our children and two teachers.
Your thoughts and prayers haven't done anything in the 329 days since Uziel was shot through his stomach exiting his spine.
Your thoughts and prayers are useless unless you have thought and prayed for legislation that you can help enact that could change this.”
Thank you so much to Brett Cross and these BRAVE parents for speaking out!

Today's southwest winds spread warm air over the Denver metro area, moving out the cold air. At DIA, the temperature rose 28 degrees in an hour (37 to 65). That's the second biggest one-hour rise since 1974.
It's DEN data, both airports. #cowx
Thanks for the ? @BianchiWeather!

We should not have to live like this.
I did not know this full story. Thanks for sharing @emiliambenton. 😞 The Runners World article is definitely worth a read. This feels so key: "“Race, and the consequential experiences because of it, is a part of a [minority] runner’s identity".
the front of the pack are approx. 9 hours in, and have 7 hours to finish loop 3 and take a power nap (and/or make dinner in their shower), before moving onto loop 4 #bm100
