Before taking EDTE 4200, I didn't fully know what went into the technology aspect of education. There is so much out there that educators can utilize. This class has definitely opened my eyes up to all the way I can teach my future students! #CSUBEDTE4200#CSUBTED
@csubkaylahinkle@tom_karnes@BarnellNicole Hi Kayla, Cost is so important and I don't think it's something many think about. This Is a wonderful idea and so "out of the box" if you will. Great response
@Mad_Isa_CSUB@Ststansberry@doctor2pi@Duncannedd@BarnellNicole@tom_karnes Hi Isa, the digital projects for history are the way I plan to go as well as using John Greens Crash Course in my classes to help make the lessons a bit more fun for the students. I feel for history, technology is a must nowadays.
@xojessieeex@tom_karnes@doctor2pi Hi Jess, This is a great idea! I actually didn't even consider libraries even though I live in there when I'm on campus. Utilization of different sites and programs could be an issue as I had issues figuring out Twitter, myself.
@alexmurphy02@DrEddiesClass@doctor2pi Hi Alex! It's nice to meet someone who wants to work with younger children. Im stuck between 10/12th grade or middle school 7th/8th grade for history.
@MagdalenaBQG@BarnellNicole@doctor2pi Hi Magdalena, Emails are a good piece of technology, especially with parents who might be too busy to pick up the phone. I didn't even think of this. Good idea.
@UrielOcegueda29@BarnellNicole@doctor2pi I agree, that online activities that get the kids working together are a great way to build relationships. I plan to incorporate daily questions, silly ones, to get my students interacting with each other
@UrielOcegueda29@doctor2pi Hi @UrielOcegueda29, I agree Google Translate does help both teacher and student. I actually had to use it not too long ago to let a student know he was needed in the library! so much easier than trying to brush off my Spanish.
@tom_karnes@doctor2pi A3) We can make technology accessible to all members of the community by offering free wifi in more remote places as well as devices. Not having access in rural or remote areas is a challenge. #CSUBTED#csubedte4200@doctor2pi
@BarnellNicole@doctor2pi A1) have a "question of the day" at the beginning of each class session, posted to their Google Classroom, where they will be able to not only answer the question but interact with their classmates. #csubedte4200#CSUBTED@doctor2pi
