About a year ago, I got a text from my friend @JamesClear, the author of Atomic Habits.
He told me it was time.
For ages we’d been talking about doing a habits app together, but always punted it due to our mutually messy calendars.
We worked out the entire deal via text in a few minutes.
James would own 60% and Tiny the other 40%.
He’d teach us everything he knew about habit formation, then we’d boil his habit genius into an app and operate the business.
We rallied some of @metalab’s best designers, built a team, and got to work, and after many months of beta testing, we just released Atoms, the official Atomic Habits app, to the public.
It just hit the top 20 on the US App Store, and #1 in the UK(!).
Pretty freaking cool.
We’d love it if you’d go check it out.
You might even change your life. Maybe stop scrolling Twitter so much? Start working out? Go for those daily runs you’ve been thinking about?

7. Waste no time measuring yourself against other people
I’ve never observed anyone, regardless of field, achieve lasting prominence while voicing rancor or focusing much on the failings of others. Create and share, support others and enjoy. Givers and creators always prevail.
Nolan Bushnell, the co-founder of Atari, once said something that has always resonated with me.
"Everyone who has taken a shower has had an idea," he said.
"But, it's the people who get out of the shower, towel off, and do something about it that make the difference."
Exercising for 60 minutes is 4% of your day.
Writing for 45 minutes is 3% of your day.
Reading for 30 minutes is 2% of your day.
Meditating for 15 minutes is 1% of your day.
It doesn’t take much to get a little better every day.

We can learn from the great achievements of Martin Luther King Jr. to recognize that non-violence is the best long-term approach to redressing injustice. If the twentieth century was a century of violence, let us make the twenty-first a century of dialogue.

I've just been informed spinach tortillas have no health benefits over normal ones
They are just spinach flavored tortillas
They are not tortillas made of spinach
Who the fuck wants a SPINACH-FLAVORED TORTILLA
Im only ever eating that shit because I thought it was good for me
@oneilt32 I've used the Binax now tests a bunch. 2 tests in the box. Use one now as the other in a few days. Read the directions closely. It can be a little confusing the first time you do it.
