What makes Michael Jordan the GOAT?
Here are 9 reasons why.
1. Embracing Failure - "I've missed more than 9,000 shots in my career. I've lost almost 300 games. 26 times, I've been trusted to take the game-winning shot and missed. I've failed over and over and over again in my life. And that is why I succeed."
Failure is critical to success. Your mindset and approach to failure are great separators in life. It gives the great ones the confidence to take risks.
2. Self-Confidence - "You must expect great things of yourself before you can do them."
Confidence is key to achieving your goals. You must believe it to achieve it!
3. No Limits - "Limits, like fear, is often an illusion."
The only limits we have in life are the ones we put on ourselves. Do not live a life that limits you.
4. Love the Game - "The game of basketball has been everything to me. My place of refuge, a place I've always gone where I needed comfort and peace."
Jordan’s passion for basketball teaches us that true fulfillment comes from doing what we love.
5. Talent and Practice - "Everybody has talent, but ability takes hard work."
This quote reminds us that while talent is a starting point, what truly matters is dedication and hard work.
6. Goal Setting - "I'm not out there sweating for three hours every day just to find out what it feels like to sweat."
Jordan underscores the importance of purpose and intention in our efforts.
7. Fearless Effort - "I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I can't accept not trying."
Also related to failure, Jordan says that failure is not trying. Many people talk but don't act. Be willing to put yourself out there. Be willing to try.
8. Teamwork - "Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships."
Individual talent matters, but it's the collective effort and intelligence that achieve the ultimate success. Jordan won because he got the most out of his team!
9. Persistence
"Never say never, because limits, like fears, are often just an illusion."
We must persevere. The limitations we perceive can be overcome with determination and effort.

Doctors thought the injury Ray Niro III suffered in camp would keep him out for the year.
But Niro wouldn’t let his career end like that.
"I didn't want to go out 1-11. I'm just proud that I'm going out on a high note."

TENDONS ARE 🔑
To create better speed and explosiveness, tendon strength must be a priority. Here’s a couple of the drop jump variations we use to create “bouncy” tendons.
⚡️BW Drop to Pop Over
⚡️Split Drop to Pop and Catch
⚡️Regular Drop to Pop Ups
