We can’t be losing all these hundreds of animals in a single migration 🙆🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️🙆🏻♀️😭😭😭.
Or maybe construct for them bridges for crossing 🤔
@TokoPax4 But you people didn't know how to use the money. How do you buy 2 crates of beer and you use one crate to bath the dog wc guarded you during curing the tobacco at the barn😅😅
Church of Uganda has learnt of a video circulating on social media showing a scuffle involving Rev. Canon Richard Ongom, a retired clergy currently serving on contract in Abim, Diocese of North Karamoja, and a Christian whose identity is yet to be established.
We are concerned by the incident and wish to assure the Church and the general public that the matter is being followed up through the appropriate Church structures.
Relevant administrative and pastoral measures will be taken upon establishing the circumstances surrounding the incident.
We call upon Christians in the Diocese of North Karamoja and the wider Church community to remain calm and commit the situation to God in prayer.

Local government officials are under paid. Peanut salaries are all over in this country.
Enhance salaries to meet needs of civil servants rather than telling them not to embezzle money which is in their possession.
Although I do NOT like Dr. Jose Chameleon @JChameleone because he once grabbed and painfully squeezed my left-side buttocks in a public space, I appreciate his genius stroke of leading the unification of Uganda’s pop musicians at @MatovuAfrigo Moses Matovu’s vigil. After singing his “Basiima Ogenze” and inserting lyrics that lauded the fallen legend’s saxophone playing, Chameleone asked the instrumentalists to introduce Papa Moi’s favorite song. The band, led by two sax players and a conga drums percussionist played a few bars of “Teri Mukazi Mubi.”
And then he sang the first few lines. He invited Uncle P to join him on stage to sing. His little brother @pallasomusic Pallaso took the marching orders and joined him. Catherine Kusaasira @Ckusasira256 also joined and provided back-up to the brothers. Chameleone proceeded to invite @BebeCoolUG Bebe Cool to come serve the mourners. Bebe listened and joined him up on stage. And then @MesachSemakula Mesach Semakula was up on stage with a few younger singers such as Jasmine. Each musician who came on stage was given a microphone to sing. Their voices and harmony were very moving.
Excited, Chameleon invited their president, Eddy Kenzo @eddykenzoficial and Eddy Yawe @EddyYawe3 . Both hearkened to his voice and joined him on stage. The stage was filled with crooning Ugandan singers of all shade and creed. I saw Dr Hilderman @HonKiyaga and Ronald Mayinja @mayinja1Ron , singing besides Hajjat Stecia Mayanja @steciamayanja and Sophie Nantongo , men and women, young and old, fat and thin, drunk and sober - all singing together in memory of a legend. They all forgot their many differences and joined together in bold music.
This unity was beautiful to behold. I cried because of the beauty of spontaneous harmony and joint conviviality during grief. Although I was watching this moment very far away in exile, I was proud to be a Ugandan when I beheld Uganda’s leading artists coming together to honour a leader of the creative industry. I cried and sang along with them.
This unity would not have been possible without the courageous leadership, dare and flare of Dr Jose Chameleone. So, cheer to Kamiliyoooni!

Dear MOH,
I think it is important to distinguish between HDU and ICU units, what you have at regional referral hospitals are HDUs with beds, NOT functional ICUs and as clearly stated, MOH has not had any recruitment to fill in the staffing requirements for ICU capacity.
It is important to note that, hospitals don’t function just by adding beds or buying equipment but by recruitment and paying staff as well as maintenance of those equipment.
As seen from concerns by oversight committee this week, all our referral centers function at staffing capacity way below 50% and this should be something we address with urgency.
As for the functional CT scans, the last I checked, there were plans to bring them and I can assure you, I will verify that fact about their functionality and share as you have demanded.
As for the MRI Scans, could there be any reason why MULAGO, KAWEMPE, NAGURU, KIRUDDU, MBARARA and all the 16 regional referral hospitals do not have them?
I wish it was the Arab contractors who constructed Palisha- Kumi road.
Chinese workmanship typically Soroti- Moroto road is extremely poor. Our own Ugandan contractors would do better even!
UPDATE: Rehabilitation of the 102km Nebbi-Arua road and Ora Bridge will begin next month, Works and Transport Minister Fred Byamukama has announced. The Shs321 billion project will be undertaken by Chinese contractor China Railway 18th Bureau Group Co. Ltd and will also cover several critical roads in Arua City. Byamukama made the announcement on the second day of his upcountry road tour in the West Nile region. He is expected to inspect roads in Koboko, Yumbe and Moyo today.

@HonByamukama, Hon. Minister, the recently rebuilt Masindi–Pakwach road risks premature deterioration due to inadequate routine maintenance. Grass has overgrown the road shoulders, obstructing drainage and causing ponding of water which will soon cause damage to the road. Kindly direct urgent slashing and clearing.
