@NSSUWE
Unite Community Bristol are out on wine street today supporting the call for the government to cancel the cut to universal credit.
Out in Bristol today? Drop by and support the campaign!
#CancelTheCut#UniversalCredit
The £20-a-week cut to universal credit in October will leave out-of-work families with children barely half the income needed to achieve a socially-acceptable basic standard of living. #CancelTheCut#UniversalCredit#benefits

3194 votes for @TUSCoalition in #bristolmayor election. Shows an appetite for #socialist politics and struggle to protect workers' interests. That struggle goes on, join us and build a political voice for the working-class https://t.co/xKPTS1SoSN https://t.co/gMMtR9Ivpv #Bristol
Vote Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition today, get involved & help build a political voice for the working class. We need to fight austerity and support jobs, homes and services for all. https://t.co/BcTQv5FjQA #Election2021#LocalElections2021#Bristol#Socialism#Socialist
@SaveRedlandLibr @ScrapTheMayorLD @sandyhruthven@MarvinJRees@AlastairWatson5@thedonbs3@ShawOska@TUSCoalition completely supports libraries. We need to oppose austerity and campaign for the Tories to return the funding stole from Bristol in order to protect libraries and other services. I've been involved in successful campaigns to save libraries from closure.
@ColinBirbee @ellieduckworth I am the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition Bristol mayoral candidate this year. The truth is I hate Twitter, I hardly every go on here and I hadn't noticed the profile said "was". I guess there's not much point changing it now as it's the election today!
@mulucaver @MovingBristol Sorry for the slow reply, I hardly use Twitter. Yes, I support these demands. We also want publicly owned public transport so its run as a service, not for a profit and it is easier to democratically plan routes and to integrate different modes of transport.
Tom Baldwin @TomAgainstCuts is running for Bristol mayor. He is the candidate for the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition @TUSCoalition and this is why he thinks you should vote for him:

@BristolEnergyNw@AlastairWatson5 @ScrapTheMayorLD @MarvinJRees@thedonbs3@sandyhruthven We need to fight for funding for a massive extension of clean, renewable energy. Also, create jobs by improving energy efficiency of homes and buildings to reduce energy demand and wastage.
@BristolEnergyNw@AlastairWatson5 @ScrapTheMayorLD @MarvinJRees@thedonbs3@sandyhruthven Sorry for the slow reply, I dont really use Twitter. Public ownership of the whole energy industry, under the democratic control of workers is the only way to ensure real control over the methods of energy production.
@JohannaSpiers Climate and environment policies include publicly owned public transport which is run as a service, not for profit to reduce car use by giving a real alternative. Also a programme to improve the energy efficiency of homes and buildings and create jobs at the same time.
@JohannaSpiers Sorry for the slow reply, I hardly use Twitter. The link is to a Black Workers' Charter with demands to end systemic racism which I support. It was produced by the Socialist Party, one of the component parts of the Trade Unionist and Socialist Coalition https://t.co/mLGKOxQEVz
@RobBryher @MovingBristol Sorry for the slow reply, I hardly use Twitter. Yes, I support these demands. We also want publicly owned public transport so its run as a service, not for a profit and it is easier to democratically plan routes and to integrate different modes of transport.
@sahmeepee@EstelFR1@sandyhruthven@BristolLive @helengt76 Sorry for the slow reply, I hardly use Twitter. We'd extend landlord licensing to all homes to get greater control of quality and ensure repairs/improvements are made. We need funding for public works to create jobs, making homes more energy efficient would be part of that.
