Communities need a solution to rat running, speeding, pavement parking. We report all the time as advised. 😐

@SimsonPete @bbcrb The reality of parking on pavements, forces vulnerable pedestrians onto the road. Despite campaigning for 5years @BristolCouncil @MarvinJRees don’t see it as an important issue. Is this an acceptable way for a child to walk to school? Who has priority, the child or the driver?

@SimsonPete @judebrew @bbcrb Yes, currently pedestrians can't walk safely, being forced into the road. It's dangerous. It's an equality issue. Impracticality is an excuse.

Bristol doesn't have a plan or strategy for:

❌Active Travel
❌Walking
❌Cycling
❌School Streets
❌Cycle Hangars

But it was going to have a Liveable Neighbourhoods strategy in 2022, this was what a lot of residents were holding out for, until it was pulled last week.
