@Robbie_OR His best season had as many G/A as Mane’s best season. He missed loads of chances but can still deliver plenty in the right system, especially on a free.
@Nazteeee196 It’s almost certainly untrue. The first report about him was a joke that he wanted to leave because his dad Slot was going and it’s now grown legs. He’s a leader in the squad and I expect and hope he stays.
@Trentisballin@nas1rs He was fine - his problem was that he was our only fit attacker so had to play too much and was the focal point of frustration. He’s a very good player and dressing room leader and I hope he stays.
@LFCvain@Finn73214100@disgame23 He’s also really good. He had a poor season last year and suffered from being our only consistently fit and available attacker and the fans wanted Rio in his spot, so was an obvious scapegoat for our general attacking malaise. Listening to the players I expect him to be VC soon.
@Loui5007@InvertTheWing When you say didn’t give him first team football, do you think playing him in more first team games before 18 than Michael Owen isn’t first team football? What 17 year old played more PL minutes than him this season? It’s a made up story
@Trentvilla1@JacobsBen I have no horse in the race, but if City had a buy back and sell on with Boro, Villa would have been able to negotiate a lower fee buy getting City to waive their sell on fee (meaning Boro would ask for less) in exchange for a buy back/first refusal option on him.
@Gradient_Sports Interested in the methodology that has 4 Forest players between 50-11 and only one Sunderland player, given their respective performances this season.
@rjptabs@PhilBlundell I know it wasn’t the same and we were much more dominant in the league, but that and the league cup final and the same result against PSG were worth noting.
