@Graham_SFN Yes, but… pff grades do come from the tape. They just grade OL tape in a way that doesn’t fully mesh with the 49ers scheme. There is some overlap though, and we’re all guilty of referencing it when it’s a player we like and we agree with the grade.
@LombardiHimself He’s completely unplayable though, which means nobody else can really afford him on a 53 either. All the previous poaches showed real signs of being playable backups in the short term. Cutting Cruz has a much better chance of clearing than a mid round pick normally has.
Chinese children are taught robotics, advanced mathematics, programming & AI. American public school kids (depending on the state) are taught that gender is a choice, rainbow flags are great, American flags are racist and how to be a social Justice warrior.
If sanity does not return to public education, the United States is going to become a 3rd rate power. We owe it to our children to fix this before it is too late.
The bears are falling victim to their investing experiences.
Ordinarily, businesses see diminishing returns on incremental investment into the same loop, so all the bears’ investing priors flash alarm signals that the capex and margins have to be unsustainable.
However, they’re missing why this cycle is a unicorn.
Fundamentally, ALL economic value is derived from intelligence and energy, and it’s the very fact that the product (in this case) is “intelligence” that creates a uniquely virtuous cycle, where once a threshold of profitable intelligence per watt has been crossed (that Jensen already believes has been), not only is the investment sustainable, it gains PERPETUALLY INCREASING returns as the intelligence per watt inevitably continues to improve.
It’s the economic equivalent of runaway fission, unlike anything that has (or can possibly) happen in any other investment cycle.
Data centers helped resurrect Quincy, Washington. The poverty rate fell from 29.4% to 6.2%.
Tech tax revenue funded a new high school, hospital, library, police and fire stations, while residents’ property tax rates decreased.
Build data centers in communities that want jobs, investment, and economic revival!
@ParadisLabs The only thing the market will care about with respect to the AI trade (and NVDA more than any other) is evidence that real end-user value generates value and profits that more than justify the capex. Until that becomes virtually undisputed, the AI trade will limp along.
