should she feel a bit pissed off - yes
is it reasonable for her parents help with a reasonable deposit - yes probably
what should she do - if they donโt want to gift her a deposit a soft loan that allows her to access a good mortgage is ideal
@rorysutherland I know a lot of people in that age range who have dropped out of the work force and just retired early / gone part time to live and easy life. But these seems way too extreme not to be a data error
@peterkyle@BBCSimonJack Get out of their way, reduce planning & regulatory burden, dont punish success & vilify business owners, help reduce costs (power, property, regulatory) & tax on businesses, build more homes in high demand areas (Cambridge, London), keep the streets safe.
