@BorisJohnson @RishiSunak @Ofcom , how is one meant to work from home if they are not being provided the basics!! @WeAreOpenreach & @VirginMedia are not able to provide anything near the 10mbps, unless I pay £300 a month!! #INeedDecentInternet

[Anthony Jordan @Tony_NTR_]

not here to start a bidding war between @WeAreOpenreach and @virginmedia , but whoever I can offer me better speeds than this, without charging hundreds of pounds has me as a customer!!
Please remember @ofcom has implemented a Broadband universal service

[Anthony Jordan @Tony_NTR_]

@ofcom PLEASE help me I have tried the with the wireless dongles from @EE, its helped but it's not strong enough @virginmedia is not in my area unless I pay £300, and @WeAreOpenreach are only supplying to the new build down the road! I am only asking for what I am legally allowed

[Anthony Jordan @Tony_NTR_]

also the way I have been told I can speed this up is by knocking my neighbours doors (during a pandemic) and asking them to sign a petition to prove it is needed, @WeAreOpenreach is this THE BEST you can do, especially when the new build 2 mins down the road will be getting fibre

[Anthony Jordan @Tony_NTR_]

now if you call @BTBusiness or @virginmedia , the solution they can offer you is a dedicated line @ £350 a month for 5 years!!
so this means @WeAreOpenreach HAVE the facilities to give us internet but at extortionate prices @Ofcom

[Anthony Jordan @Tony_NTR_]

whether you call @BTGroup , @SkyUK , @Plusnet or @TalkTalk it's all powered by @WeAreOpenreach , so then @Ofcom then recommend having to use mobile phone companies who provide Wireless4g internet, which again is low numbers!!

[Anthony Jordan @Tony_NTR_]

the thing that really bugs me is that @Ofcom has a rule that every household in the UK in entitled to 10mbps , but if you live in an area that @virginmedia is not provided... the ONLY other option for wired internet is @WeAreOpenreach who give me these speeds

[Anthony Jordan @Tony_NTR_]

right didn't want to do this, but it really has come to a point where I can't take it anymore!!
How are we told to work from home and these are the speeds I am being given to work with @WeAreOpenreach , this needs to be sorted out!!
