@MarkRWeaver The average federal sentence for bank robbery convictions is 9.2 years. That includes armed and unarmed. The average for armed robbery is closer to 13 years, and that's for one offense, not 7.
@GabrielSterling That's basically a list of every county that has a major state university or college in Michigan. Young college voters who aren't generally considered the most reliable general election voting block. Rural dems and African American areas voted pretty solidly against him.
@PeterMeijer GRCC and GVSU City Campus. Almost every county he won by huge numbers has a state university/college. Isabella=CMU, Washtenaw=UofM, Kalamazoo=WMU, Ingham=MSU. This is the college youth vote, also known as the most unreliable vote in the general election.
@jaycaspiankang Almost every one of those “mega corporations” she talks about are publicly owned. What she and her communist buddies are pushing for is state ownership, which is a very different thing.
@FrancescaHongWI@ScottWalker@repvos BS. You’re lying. Voters should look at what candidates said before they started to run for high office. Campaigns have a way of moderating radical positions to make a candidate more electable.
@SenSanders The Canadian “universal healthcare” system is so broken they are euthanizing so many people it’s now among the leading causes of death in Canada.
The Fraternal Order Of Police has decided who they want as their next Ohio Attorney General. My grandfather was a state trooper. Standing with law enforcement is a family tradition. Great endorsement from the @FOPofOhio.
Couldn’t be more proud than to stand shoulder to shoulder with Ohio law enforcement.
The @FOPofOhio endorsement reinforces a simple truth: Ohio needs an Attorney General who stands with law enforcement, not one who second-guesses them.
I’ve supported police throughout my career, and will continue to earn this endorsement as Attorney General by working every day to prosecute violent criminals, support our officers, protect victims, and keep our communities safe.
@shadowhikari2@BrianStewartOH Highly recommend the 2024 movie “The Return” with Ralph Fiennes. It only covers Odysseus’s return to Ithaca and cuts out the super natural elements, but it’s a fantastic movie. That’s what I was comparing this movie to in my mind and why I thought Nolan’s film had flaws.
@BrianStewartOH Yeah, Odysseus in the poems has no issue murdering and pillaging, but those core points are there. Was happy to see how they tied it together with the theme though. Very easy to turn an Odyssey retailing into a series of wacky adventures of Odysseus and friends with no meaning.
@DispatchAlerts Amy Acton’s decisions as health director, particularly the decision to shut schools down, harmed a whole generation of children. It will be decades before we know the full extent of the damage she caused.
@KKriegeBlog It's George Washington man, best shot in the 13 colonies. Don't you read history books? Old George could hit a chipmunk in the eye at 300 yards using a flintlock pistol one handed. That's why they made him a general.
