GB Packer fan 1st, Football fan 2nd, who wishes he could be in the room where it happens.. so here are my football thoughts tossed into the Twitter void 🤷🏼♂️
@Tpars_boii So you’re referencing text that has been translated a multitude of times by a multitude of societies, each with their own societal beliefs that impact how exactly they choose to translate certain gaps in the ancient text.
To use it as an argumentative point is naive and baseless
@Tpars_boii The fundamental problem is your cited text. Your faith tells you it’s the word of God, but it was written by men- men living in a VASTLY different society, communicating in multiple ancient languages that biblical scholars will tell you do NOT always have direct translations.
@FatChops51@RevoltPolitic@zachkruse2 For real dude, I hate the internet. Gives everybody the cowardice that anonymity provides. And they all just wanna talk shit, not actually talk ball. It’s pathetic.
@_Tariqwoolen I remember after joint practice in Green Bay last summer, you and I chatted a bit about the city and how much it loves its Packers. It’d be cool to see you join the neighborhood, if that’s where your free agency takes you. Either way, best of luck my dude!
@mathbaumgarten@AndyHermanNFL@teal_andrew I think it’s because we’re not often in position to receive a 4th round comp pick, much less a 3rd. Having Willis leave as a starting level QB puts us in that rare position. Not having a 1st in ‘26 or ‘27, gathering as much capital in a loaded 2027 class is immensely important.
@BookOfEli_NFL@TFG_Football Why should BG be on the hot seat? Whenever people blame him, it generally feels like nothing more than they need a scapegoat and then never adjust that take. He’s built championship rosters, doing the job better than most. Our losses have fallen on injuries and underperforming.
@aj1893@chris9lives@WerderEdNFL In all fairness, sometimes players/teams just aren’t right for each other anymore. But I do believe Micah, a lifelong Cowboy fan growing up in Philly, would’ve done anything to stay there if he’d felt respected. Either way, he’s been both an incredible person & player here in GB.
@aj1893@chris9lives@WerderEdNFL “If” is the most succinct educated response to your argument. No draft pick is guaranteed, and it’s not guaranteed a team will even be willing to part with a player you might covet. It’s great to put yourself in a position to add talent, but adding *team-altering* talent is hard.
