@gregsilverman Unfortunately I think it’s an IP passed its prime. It has a niche audience of middle-aged men and some of the diehard comic con crowd, but limited mainstream appeal. That’s not to say it can’t have a film, but the budget and scope should’ve been reigned in to reflect this reality

It’s the fact that the Masters of the Universe IP is not currently culturally relevant. It’s a niche brand that appeals to 40 something nerds. It should never have had a $170 million movie
