12 राष्ट्रीयकृत बैंकों की 1लाख शाखाएं और उनमें 75 करोड़ खाते हैं. इसमें 13 लाख कर्मचारी कार्य करते है. बैंकों में अकाउंट रखने वाले ग्राहक भी बैंक के स्टेकहोल्डर होते हैं. लेकिन सरकार ने उनको भरोसे में लिए बिना इन बैंकों के निजीकरण का फैसला कैसे ले लिया।
