2 yrs ago when I had surgery for cancer, the lady in the next bed was visited by a hospital administrator she had not met before, not her doctor, who stood at the end of her bed and said she had no option but to have MAID. The woman said “Absolutely not! I plan to get up and dance again”. The administrator then started to argue with her saying she had no choice but MAID without explaining why. The woman said “Well I’ll talk to my family when they come on Monday.” The administrator replied “They’re coming on Monday? Good, I’ll talk to them”. She headed off the family on Monday before they saw her and they came to our room primed to convince her she had to have MAID according to the hospital. She then argued with the family that she didn’t want it. During the day she was firm but at night when they weren’t there she cried. Ultimately they convinced her and started preparing a party for her to say goodbye to all her friends. So sad. And it has made me more skeptical about MAID procedures.
@vonderleyen@MarkJCarney@eucopresident I think you meant to say “we are taking our marching orders from the same people as Europe in the areas of abolishing sex-based rights, killing people in the name of empathy, undermining western culture and values, and racist policies (among others).”
Less of this please.
@CrisXmusic@ThePosieParker@Keir_Starmer Yep! Nothing says “protecting kids” like handing government the keys to surveil every click, DM & search of a generation with IDs stored forever. Naive trust in state power ends in blacklists & wrongthink flags, and worse. Me? I prefer freedom over govt approved “safety”.
@CrisXmusic@ThePosieParker@Keir_Starmer Are you happy to have the government tracking every site you visit online? Every comment? You happy to have to prove your identity online and have that information stored by the government? What about if a party you detest wins an election? Are you happy for surveillance then?
If you don’t think radical ideology can threaten this country, you weren’t watching the transgender movement.
In barely a decade we went from biology being a settled fact to being told gender identity overrides it, that kids can decide their own sex, and that anyone who hesitated was a bigot. It started as a fringe academic idea. Then it was in the schools, the hospitals, the boardrooms, and the government.
It didn’t take a majority. It took a small, disciplined movement that knew which buttons to push, compassion, victimhood, the fear of being called cruel. And it worked.
That’s the part to sit with. It was never about one issue. It’s proof that a determined movement can rewrite an entire society faster than anyone thinks possible. If it happened once, it can happen again.
Pay attention….
This is the kind of thing that haunts families, and it haunts me and my deputies. All because a prosecutor won't prosecute a crime.
A man cosplaying as a woman sexually assaults a young lady as part of a sport. It's on tape.
That's what happened. We recommended charges. The Pierce County prosecutor declined to charge and says the fact that it was a man doesn't have any bearing on the assault.
It's right there. On video. They don't want you to believe your own eyes. It's gaslighting. It's awful.
To everyone on here. Flood the internet with this story. They're not listening and it's time we got loud. More below 🧵⬇️
Bill C-34 is worse than I expected. It would create a Digital Safety Commission with the power to force social media companies and AI chat services to censor the speech of adults.
I explain why I'm so concerned below.

BILL C-9 Action Required - One Click letter Link
Dear Stephanie McLean,
BILL C-9 Should be tossed in the BIN and BURNED for vague and broad definitions:
Bill C-9 creates new offences for intimidation, obstruction, interference and displaying hate symbols, but does not precisely define these terms. Without clear boundaries, regular discussions, peaceful demonstrations or controversial viewpoints could be misinterpreted as criminal activity.
Vague language allows for wide interpretation by law enforcement and the courts, creating legal uncertainty for every Canadian.
• Removal of Attorney General oversight: Currently, hate-propaganda charges require approval from the Attorney General to ensure they are used appropriately.
Bill C-9 removes this safeguard. Police would be able to lay charges without external review, increasing the risk of selective, inconsistent or politically influenced prosecutions.
This change could disproportionately affect activists, protesters, faith groups and individuals expressing politically unpopular opinions. Risk to peacefully protest:
• The bill expands the meaning of intimidation and obstruction in ways that could apply to peaceful protest.
Demonstrations near government buildings, schools, cultural centres, hospitals or places of worship could be treated as criminal if anyone claims they felt intimidated, obstructed or interfered with.
Intent does not matter. Large gatherings, signs with strong messages or simply standing in a particular location could be considered offences based on subjective interpretation.
With the massive import of migrants and the very REAL and immediate effects of culture clash, crime, organized criminal cartels, billions in excess spending on 'keeping' these immigrants the government, including yourself newly appointed should reconsider our country's committment to the UN Agenda.
The 'post nation state' of Canada is being implmented with ever piece of Legislation you introduce. Your motivations are questionable.
The majority of people on Vancouver Island, stand against Bill C-9, this is not just about religious expression, as you very well know.
200,000 Post Cards were delivered to the Senate in Protest.
Sincerely,
SC
