@JulietteJDI I don't disagree but there is an unsteady correlation assumed between patriarchy as a limited, moderate system in a family and broad immoderate patriarchy in society. You might be unsympathetic to this idea but patriarchy is not in and of itself bad. Matriarchy, either.

@martyrmade I doubt any serious adult person is enjoying this show. Deportation is messy and often heartbreaking, but the goal should be to be mitigate these situations in every reasonable way, not worsen them clumsily and to the detriment of the cause.

@chamath These sorts of stories, infuriating as they are, just confirm the government needs dollars out there being spent, even if they have to put them in action through unfair, corrupt, or ridiculous means. When/if they stop, consumers cannot consume and asset ownership has risk.
