For the UConn fans who are resistant to a possible move to the Big 12, here's what you need to keep in mind: the Big 12 is undoubtedly going to expand again, and their preference is to add more teams from the Eastern U.S.

Right now, the Big 12 is at 16 teams, and UConn could make it 17. And they would undoubtedly strive to eventually get to 20-24 teams. That means the conference could add 3-7 more Eastern teams after UConn, should the Huskies get an invite.

Given the money and power conference affiliation at stake here, this decision is a no-brainer.

@Licatacs Gampel Pavilion needs to be completely REPLACED. A second concourse cannot be added to the current structure, and that's what we will need in any new on campus basketball arena. 12,000 seats and 2/multiple concourses. I know it hurts, but Gampel...must be fully replaced.
