Just found a beautiful pocket of tree ferns (I think) and palms in primary forest in the @UNDPproject landscape. #DroneEcology turns over so much information from the landscape, it will take ages to unpack it.
Fieldwork is complete! #dungbeetle & #ecosystemfunctioning sampling is complete across our land use gradient in Sabah! Massive kudos to @UMS_EcoCampus student @Liyuen93 and her research assistants on 3 years of hard work! Now for some analysis!

#IamABiologist working with the @UNDPproject@OrangutanSurvey, trying to understand how human impact on forests in #Sabah, Malaysian Borneo, is affecting #Orangutan habitat. I fly #drones over large areas of forest in order to find Orangutan nests & Strangler Fig trees.
