The “Global View” session looked back at the UN High-Level Meeting on NCDs — implications for cancer, financing, and health systems.

We saw how decentralised systems reduce travel burdens, improve early detection, and enable seamless referrals. Many lessons for Nigeria as we work to strengthen equitable access.

A key highlight was our technical visit to the @MonashUni Partners Comprehensive Cancer Consortium (MPCCC).
They shared “spotlight stories” on decentralised cancer care team-based, community-driven, data-informed.

👉 Patient navigation saves lives.
Countries that use structured navigation systems report earlier diagnoses, fewer delays, better adherence, and improved patient experience.
