Hon. Gen. @Tumukunde_ has called for stronger coordination among Government institutions, CSOs, development partners and other stakeholders to combat trafficking in persons in Uganda.

Speaking at the National Multi-Stakeholder Dialogue on Combating Trafficking in Persons at John Paul II Justice and Peace Centre, he emphasised the need for collective action to prevent trafficking and protect vulnerable communities.

Hon. @simonmulongo, Minister of State for Labour, Employment and Industrial Relations, reaffirmed Government’s commitment to promoting safe labour migration and strengthening measures to combat trafficking in persons.

The dialogue brought together stakeholders including the Commissioner for Employment Services, Dr. @LEgulu, IOM, Government agencies, CSOs and development partners.
