At the India Today Conclave South 2025, I could emphasize that Telangana produces over 2 lakh graduates every year, representing a tremendous reservoir of talent. Under the leadership of CM Revanth Reddy garu, the state has established an industry-driven Young India Skills University, to ensure that graduates are not only educated but also employable across diverse sectors.
The focus of this initiative is to bridge the skill gap between traditional education and industry requirements. Through comprehensive training programs, the university prepares graduates for employment not just in IT but across various sectors in Telangana. This reflects the Congress government’s commitment to inclusive growth and building a workforce ready to meet modern challenges.
By equipping youth with practical skills and fostering collaboration between academia and industry, Telangana is preparing its young population to seize the opportunities of tomorrow. Congress-led initiatives aim to create a skilled, adaptable and globally competitive workforce that can drive sustainable development and innovation across the state and the nation.

The Israeli state is committing genocide. It has murdered over 60,000 people, 18,430 of whom were children.
It has starved hundreds to death including many children and is threatening to starve millions.
Enabling these crimes by silence and inaction is a crime in itself.
It is shameful that the Indian Government stands silent as Israel unleashes this devastation on the people of Palestine.
The cold blooded murder of five Al Jazeera journalists is yet another heinous crime committed on Palestinian soil.
The immeasurable courage of those who dare to stand for the truth will never be broken by the violence and hatred of the Israeli state.
In a world where much of the media is enslaved to power and commerce, these brave souls reminded us of what true journalism is.
May they rest in peace.
The Telangana Government has done everything a proactive State should do, from allotment of 10 acres of prime land at Maheshwaram to all subsidies being approved and every clearance completed in record time, in order to host a world class advanced system and packaging facility. The company is investment-ready and has been waiting only for the India Semiconductor Mission approval. Yet, in a baffling display of bias, the Union Cabinet has greenlit a similar project in Andhra Pradesh where not even a single acre of land has been allotted.
The contrast is stark. Telangana’s proposal is backed by ready-to-use land, approved subsidies, investor commitments and a clear implementation roadmap. Whereas no land has been allotted and groundwork remains incomplete in Andhra Pradesh.
This is not an administrative lapse. It is blatant step-motherly treatment towards Telangana. A State with ready infrastructure, investor commitment and a clear execution plan has been side-lined in favour of an unprepared proposal existing only on paper. This selective approach defies logic, undermines fairness and sends a damaging signal to global investors about the Centre’s priorities. Such politically motivated decisions are only an insult towards Telangana’s preparedness. We will not accept being denied our rightful place in the national semiconductor growth story.

Over the past 18 months, I have closely observed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy @revanth_anumula garu’s leadership and I am deeply impressed by the clarity, commitment and drive with which he has been leading the State. His focus on inclusive development, transparent governance and people-centric policies reflects a clear vision for Telangana’s future. I am truly pleased with the Congress party’s decision to entrust him with this responsibility. He has not only fulfilled that trust but has also strengthened the party’s promise of progressive and accountable governance.

"New Delhi's silence on the devastation in Gaza and now on the unprovoked escalation against Iran reflects a disturbing departure from our moral and diplomatic traditions. This represents not just a loss of voice but also a surrender of values.
It is still not too late. India must speak clearly, act responsibly, and use every diplomatic channel available to defuse tensions and promote a return to dialogue in West Asia."
- Smt. Sonia Gandhi ji, CPP Chairperson
It is extremely shameful that India abstained from voting on the Gaza ceasefire at the UN General Assembly on June 12, 2025. India has always stood for peace, justice and human dignity.
• More than 60,000 lives have been lost in Palestine—most of them women and children. Thousands are starving and dying, and the international aid has stopped. This is a humanitarian tragedy.
• At such a time, India should have stood firmly in support of a ceasefire in Gaza, but India abandoned its principled stand against war, genocide and justice.
• India has always chosen to stand with Palestine as a matter of principle and not as a strategy, but today that glorious legacy lies reduced to rubble.
• Today, India has abandoned its principles and has bowed down to Tel Aviv. These were the same principles that once made us the guiding light for leadership values to the world.
🔹 It is essential to remember that global leadership is not built on silence. If we want India's voice to matter on the global stage, the most crucial thing is that we stand up against injustice with courage.
🔹 Today, when Palestine is reeling under violence, humanitarian degradation and growing instability, it is not right for India to remain silent.
▪️ Looking at India's history, the Modi government will have to understand that the world does not listen to the country that speaks the loudest. The world listens to those who speak with full courage and conscience.
The article authored by Leader of Opposition Shri @RahulGandhi, published in multiple national and regional newspapers, raises grave and legitimate questions about the transparency and integrity of the electoral process, particularly in the context of the recently concluded 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections.
In response to this article, a letter surfaced purportedly from the Election Commission of India. However, we categorically state that the authenticity of this letter remains questionable. As Shri Gandhi rightly pointed out addressing the ECI:
“You are a Constitutional body. Releasing unsigned, evasive notes to intermediaries is not the way to respond to serious questions.”
This lack of transparency from a constitutional body mandated to ensure free and fair elections is deeply concerning. The Congress Party, committed to upholding democratic values and electoral integrity, supports the critical questions raised by Shri Rahul Gandhi and reiterates them publicly:
Our Questions Remain:
1. Unexplained Voter Surge in Maharashtra:
Between 2019 and early 2024, only 31 lakh new voters were added in Maharashtra. Yet, 41 lakh new votersappeared on the rolls in just the 5 months between the 2024 Lok Sabha and Maharashtra Assembly elections.
How did this massive and statistically inconsistent surge occur?
2. Discrepancy in Voter Turnout Figures:
The provisional turnout released was 58.73%, yet the final turnout was declared to be 66%.
Where is the post-5 PM CCTV footage or videography to justify this 7% jump?
3. Dilution of the Election
Commissioner Appointment Process:
The Government amended the process by replacing the Chief Justice of India with the Union Home Minister on the appointment panel.
Why was the judiciary removed from a process meant to ensure independence?
4. Non-Publication of Voter Lists:
The final, updated electoral rolls for both the 2024 Lok Sabha and 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections have not been published.
Why is the Election Commission withholding this critical public data?
If the Election Commission of India (ECI) has nothing to hide, then it must release the following data without delay:
1. Consolidated, digital, and machine-readable voter rollsfor both the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and the 2024 Maharashtra Assembly elections, with full version history and timestamps of updates.
2. All post-5 PM CCTV footage or videography from polling booths across Maharashtra during the Assembly elections.
Transparency is not a favour, it is a constitutional obligation.
Democracy cannot survive on the basis of opaque processes and unverifiable data. The Congress Party stands firm with Shri Rahul Gandhi’s call for full transparency and institutional accountability. The credibility of the Election Commission is at stake, and we urge it to uphold the standards expected of a neutral and constitutional authority.
The citizens of India deserve answers. The integrity of our democracy demands it.
