@TiWindisch This Heat package feels like a tolerable floor. Even if it’s just 65-75% of the real value of GA, it creates a respectable market. Horst can tell the low-ballers to kick rocks if they can’t beat the Heat offer.
Great? No
Tolerable? Sure
@PingaP305@sam_amick@eric_nehm@TheAthletic I enjoyed that he wrote out specifically, “Boston is controlling the narrative.”
Boston Media Mafia are trying to get the price so low that the Bucks have to attach picks just to get off Giannis.
@AndrewBrandt Similar to predatory lending -- the companies have the financial safety and actuarial backing to know that they'll come out way ahead in the long-run with a large enough client pool. The poor players just want to get out of poverty so they'll take an unfair deal.
@ChrisCSports@John_Karalis Utah still only projects to be the 8-12th(?) best team in the West next year. They’ll likely have 2 or 3 ping pong balls.
3 balls = ~39% chance at Top5
2 balls = ~28%
1 balls = ~15%
The best Memphis can hope for is 6th… nothing in the top 5 in 2027.
@TrueHoop It feels like you’re arguing both sides.
Draft is good: Spurs, Magic, Pistons
Draft is bad: Jazz, Kings, Wizards
Old, expensive is bad: Bucks, Suns, Clippers
Old, expensive is good: Knicks, Cavs, Wolves
@packers@Ticketmaster Bills & Packers fans uniting to play drinking games for 10 straight hours ahead of a night game at Lambeau in December is the stuff dreams are made of
If you work for the @GBPolice Department. Submit your PTO requests for Sunday December 13th now. Bills and Packers fans will be tailgating for ~10 hours before their Sunday Night Football kickoff.
@BKWolfman@Alec_332 I literally wrote "on the border of being the 5th or 6th home game" in the first message and "I know it's unlikely" in the next message. Have a nice day.
