After months of negotiating, our members unanimously voted to ratify our new contract that includes:
✅ $60,000 minimum salary, including 5% raise this year
✅ New Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility committee
✅ 12 weeks of parental leave
After a 12-day strike we have reached a tentative agreement with @IcahnMountSinai! This is a massive achievement and would not have been possible without years of efforts by hundreds of postdocs and our incredible allies who stood with us ✊🏽 #1u
Today at noon, our members at Local 422 in Mansfield, MA, will strike. Just now, @UAW President @ShawnFainUAW called on 38 Stellantis & GM PDCs across 20 states to join the historic #StandUpUAW Strike, the first ever strike of all Big 3 automakers at the same time.
