COVID-19 disrupted the preparation and crucial eligibility years of thousands of aspirants. The 112th Parliamentary Standing Committee had also recommended a compensatory attempt with corresponding age relaxation, but the issue still remains unresolved.
Candidates have also raised serious concerns regarding the CSE Prelims 2026 provisional answer key (27 disputed answers: 15 GS + 12 CSAT), CSAT syllabus fidelity, and transparency in the examination and evaluation process.
Their principal demand is a compensatory attempt(s) as a one-time relief measure, along with appropriate age relaxation, for all eligible COVID-affected aspirants.
The government’s insensitive and anti-youth attitude is responsible for their frustration.
@IYC stands firmly with their demand and warns the Government of India to take necessary measures. Otherwise, a student agitation will be launched in front of the UPSC, if necessary.
