It was a great pleasure to attend Yorkshire And Humber Labour Fundraising event at Midlands Hotel in Bradford this week, great to see Rachel Reeves Shadow Chancellor of The Exchequer, Imran Hussain Mp for Bradford East, Susan Hinchcliffle Leader of Bradford Council and others.

Over the weekend I visited Wakefield Rhubarb Festival in Wakefield City Centre, I also spoke to a few vendors. It was a lovely event for families and residents.

Today I did my surgery at Ryhill Methodist Church, it was great to meet Anne and Daphney & discussed issues affecting local consituents. I then looked at the book on the history of Ryhill. I then went to Lafflands Lane to look at the flag that has been repaired on the steps.

This week I stood in Solidarity with our Nurses at Leeds General Infirmary, to demand fair pay, better working conditions and improved patient safety. @theRCN

This week I joined thousands of Trade Unionists marched through Leeds to defend the Right To Strike. The rally had representatives from 10 different Trade Unions. Great to see so many people come together to support workers get better pay and and improve their working conditions.

I had the opportunity to stand in Solidarity with the teachers and other workers striking this week. I had the opportunity to support NEU members outside Crofton Academy & support my former primary school teachers at the Wakefield Rally.

Yesterday on remberance Sunday I had the opportunity to attend the Rememberance Sunday Service at Crofton All Saints Church, I then laid a wreath on behalf of Jon Trickett Mp at the Millenium Stone in Crofton and I also laid a wreath in Wakefield.
