@wil_da_beast630 If I have to explain to you why the US isn't good at soccer then you don't understand soccer (which is probably because you're American which is why the US isn't good at soccer)
@AvidCommentator Most people have no idea what negative gearing is, let alone why it exists.
The idea is essentially to level the playing field between those with a passive income and those still having to earn an income.
People cheering on its demise are idiots.
@seanclarke911@_Checkmatey_ The most depressing thing is the support for these changes by most voters who simply don't understand how our tax system works.
Negative gearing, for example, is a policy aimed at the little guy, yet most people think it's some tax dodge for wealthy landlords.
This is 100% true. I was there when it happened. Yassir Arafat was offered 97% of the land and he turned it down.
Hamas, the PLO, and Iran didn’t want peace then, and they don’t want it now.
@Docstockk@Ella_M_Whelan This is the sole reason that I cannot bring myself to donate to spiked.
Their myopic view of the abortion issue is utterly grotesque.
@kvanderhoek75@_Checkmatey_ This is precisely the problem. Wall Street is going to get bored of Bitcoin.
Maybe once we drop down to $2-3k, Bitcoiners will actually be able to have any sort of impact.
