Starting today my new personality is going to be of a confused interdisciplinary scholar who keeps reading theories from different disciplines and tries very hard to understand overlaps but eventually gets more confused.
I always underestimate how wrong and biased I can be about the field realities of my own country and it makes me wonder how much I miss elsewhere. Every field visit humbles me, and that’s probably my favorite part of learning to be an economist.
