Join us in July for the #EyeTracking and #Subtitling Symposium!
We have a great lineup of speakers and we're very keen on hearing about projects in the field. Looking forward to seeing you at Warwick!
We are so very sad and sorry to hear the news of Paul Auster’s death.
Paul was a towering figure on the Faber list and among the truly great innovators of the literature of the past half century. We are a company of Paul Auster fans and many of us will be thinking today of our first Paul Auster book and the path it led us on.
We have so many happy memories of time spent with Paul and his wife Siri Hustvedt in his thirty-six years publishing with Faber. Our thoughts are with Siri and his family and friends.
#REWIND by @EphemeralEns left me breathless…a raw dive into the life and disappearance of a young Latin American protester. I was totally gripped by the show’s sonic power and it is so much to think about. Hope this powerful testament to pain and resistance continues to tour🎭✊
I've been away for a week to work on a deadline - depressing to see how many age-exclusive opportunities piled up in such a short time - imagine how many that is per month, per year...
...on which note, I'm looking for someone - or several someones - to run @noentry_arts with me
We are proposing a new format for #APTIS2024 and would love to see many colleagues in #Translation and #Interpreting studies engaging with it. Take a look at our call, submit your proposals or let us know what other ideas you have!

I did my undergrad at Goldsmiths (in media and modern literature) and it set me up as a writer and thinker in ways reflected daily in my work. Some of your favourite writers started here and/or teach here, and it’s being torn apart.
📌 Join us next week in Warwick. On Friday, we will be co-creating mediation solutions in healthcare settings. If you are interested in #multilingualism, #translation, #interpreting, #migration, #health, this is for you. It is open and free to all.

Thanks to Xinran Xue and Will Spence for this inspiring discussion on #cultural#translation today, facilitated by Dr Qian Liu. Our MA and PhD students learned a lot about how to translate narrative voices and visual elements in two of Xinran’s books!
Save the date for our second event and collaboration!
SQRN and cordially invite you to the round table “Queer Migrations: Perspectives, Practices, and Possibilities” on the 24th April at the Faculty of Arts, University of Warwick.
