Residents in the vicinity have been eagerly awaiting the inauguration of the underpass connecting Keshav Nagar and Amanora Park Town. They are getting frustrated due to the delay in the inauguration owing to the protocol of the model code of conduct, which has to be followed at the election time. Massive traffic congestion and subsequent delays caused are agitating the public.

The construction of the underpass is complete and the authorities are likely to open the road post elections. “The work of the underpass at Keshav Nagar is completed, but it's not operational as we haven’t inaugurated it due to the model code of conduct during elections. Once the elections are over, the underpass will be inaugurated and made available for the public to use.”

There are major delays and bottlenecks at the Mundhwa Chowk and the railway crossing while travelling to Amanora Park town, Hadapsar and Magarpatta. These patches have been the cause of public discontent due to unnecessary delays.

The non-operational underpass has sparked frustration amongst the residents who were expecting the underpass to open right after construction to provide them relief from the traffic woes plaguing the area.

The persistent traffic condition is causing a problem for daily commuters who told Pune Pulse, “Being one of the most commuted roads as it connects major IT companies and other business, there's always a commotion and rush, which evidently increases my time of travel and also prompts me to do a lot of planning ahead. Still, due to increase in traffic and heat it becomes difficult to travel.”

The residents alleged that that there is a tussle between PMRDA and the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC). The underpass is constructed by the PMRDA, and the approaching road is going to be acquired by the PMC, but due to land acquisition issues, the road work has not been completed yet. There is only one exit route available through the railway crossing, which acts as a one-way passage; hence, manoeuvring through the area has become challenging, especially at peak traffic hours....

288 संरक्षण अधिकारी आणि युद्ध विधवांवर परिणाम करणाऱ्या अमनोरा टाउनशिप जोडणी समस्येच्या तातडीच्या निवारणासाठी विनम्र विनंती

आदरणीय श्री मुरलीधर मोहोळ साहेब,

सप्रेम नमस्कार।

मी भारतीय सैन्याचे 288 सेवारत, निवृत्त अधिकारी आणि काही युद्ध विधवा यांच्या वतीने आपल्याकडे ही विनंती सादर करीत आहे. देशाच्या सेवेसाठी आयुष्य समर्पित केल्यानंतर, आम्ही आज अशा परिस्थितीत अडकलो आहोत की जिथे आमचा सन्मान आणि मूलभूत सवलतीही आम्हाला नाकारल्या जात आहेत.

काही वर्षांपूर्वी आम्ही अमनोरा पार्क टाउनशिपमधील सेक्टर 25 येथील विक्टरी टॉवर्स मध्ये घर खरेदी केली, ही इमारत खास सशस्त्र दलासाठी राखीव होती. परंतु, दुर्दैवाने, हे टॉवर रेल्वे लाईनच्या पलीकडे असून मुख्य टाउनशिपपासून वेगळे आहे.

आमच्या विनंत्यांनंतर इंडियन रेल्वेने तीन वर्षांपूर्वी अंडरपास बांधले, परंतु DP रोड जो या अंडरपासला टाउनशिपशी जोडतो, तो आजही अपूर्ण आहे. न्यायालयाने संबंधित कायदेशीर अडथळे आता दूर केले आहेत. त्यामुळे हा रस्ता पूर्ण करणे ही PMC व PMRDA यांची जबाबदारी आहे.

हा रस्ता केवळ R-25 च्या रहिवाशांना टाउनशिपशी जोडणार नाही, तर दररोजच्या वाहतूक कोंडीला—विशेषतः रेल्वे क्रॉसिंग आणि हडपसर-खराडी रोडवर—मोठा दिलासा देईल.

या रस्त्याविना आम्ही विक्टरी टॉवरमधील रहिवासी मॉल, स्विमिंग पूल, क्रीडा संकुल, शाळा आणि इतर नागरी सुविधा वापरू शकत नाही—ज्या आम्हाला वचन दिलेल्या होत्या आणि ज्यासाठी आम्ही पैसे दिले.

ही केवळ गैरसोय नाही—तर ही आमच्या अधिकारांची पायमल्ली आहे.

आपल्या न्यायाची भावना, देशभक्ती आणि नेतृत्व क्षमतेवर आमचा पूर्ण विश्वास आहे. आपण केवळ आमचे लोकप्रतिनिधी नाही, तर देशासाठी झटलेल्या जवानांचा आवाज आहात.

आज आम्ही आपल्याला आमचा आवाज बनण्याची विनंती करतो.

आपली तातडीने कृती केली, तर 288 शूर सैनिक व त्यांच्या कुटुंबियांना (युद्ध विधवांसह) न्याय व सन्मान मिळेल आणि एक जुना वचनबद्ध मुद्दा पूर्णत्वास जाईल.

This is uncivil and causing irreversible loss for the research center forest land as the plastic is going into the forest. Amanora or PMC should act on it now. Citizens have raised complaints with PMC which were closed with false comments.

This garbage point started recently and people are travelling 2 to 3 kms to dump the garbage here. We from society have also spotted few restaurants regularly started disposing their waste here.
