I'm incredibly unhappy with the service I have received. I should not be financially punished for someone else's error, which my car insurance provider has failed to both properly check details of the initial claim, and resolve this issue in a timely manner (6/6)
@asksheilas I'm having an ongoing issue regarding a claim that was incorrectly attributed to me affecting my car insurance. In July I was informed that someone had reported that they had hit my car and started a claim. I hadn't been involved in any accident . When I called (1/6)
I spoke with a complaints advisor who told me they'd ask the third party insurer to contact me which hasn't happened. My renewal is in 2 days, and there is no resolution. My emails and phone calls are now consistently unanswered. I need someone to contact me immediately (5/6)
Happy to share our study, in which we identified sex-specific molecular signatures of adipose endothelial cells under obesogenic conditions.

The @lvbforum is back in full swing! Our Autumn meeting is scheduled @UCLeye on the 12th of October, organised by the @RuhrbergLab please join us for another afternoon of great science and networking! program 👇
I'm incredibly excited to be able to share our review, examining the literature on Cre toxicity in the cardiovascular system, exploring mechanisms, and highlighting the importance of using the correct controls (1/2)
Review| @RuhrbergLab discuss #Cre/#CreER#toxicity in mouse models of #cardiovascular physiology and disease, the proposed mechanisms and the need to understand it, eliminate it, and control for it. https://t.co/t9b6LjXYRD

Whilst we have focused on the cardiovascular system, Cre toxicity has been described throughout the mouse system with multiple global and cell-specific, constitutive and inducible Cres (see Fig.2) (2/2).

A frequent misconception among people using mouse genetics :
CreERT2 + Tamoxifen is VERY toxic to proliferating cells.
More than Cre.
So all your control mice should have CreERT2 + Tamoxifen.
Yes it complicates things a lot, but is the only way fwd. See more on this below 👇
@RuhrbergLab stresses the importance of using the right controls for angiogenesis studies using CreER-mediated gene recombination. https://t.co/akrSLxjwKQ
