Another day, another payment gateway scamming clients. This time it's @Razorpay! Charged a customer 2L but then seemingly lost hold of it somehow & has been in limbo since 6th Feb. Customer has been charged, Merchant has not received the settlement. Only razorpay gets 2L richer.

@StanChartIN Still no clear justification for dropping the credit limit by 97%, rendering the card useless. I can't even buy a flight ticket from bombay to goa in 10,000 rupees. Set aside the fact that you conned 6,000 rupees for an upgrade from us just 10 months ago. Scammers.

Want to know how @StanChartIN rewards its loyal customers? My mum has had a standard chartered credit card for over 20 years. Not once has she been late on a payment. It was regularly used for all bill payments and online purchases so it's not like it was a dormant account.

@StanChartIN Thanks for the vague explanation. If you could be more specific as to the factors, credit checks and bank policies that warrant a 97% decrease in credit limit for a card that has been active for more than 20 years, with zero late payments, that would be of great help.

10 months after peddling an upgrade for Rs. 5,900, they have rescinded all use of the upgraded card by cutting down a limit of 3,35,000 to 10,000. That's a a 97% drop of credit limit. No explanation, just an SMS and a 🖕from the lovely folks at @StanChartIN .

In April 2024, they offered to upgrade from a "PLATINUM REWARDS CARD" to an "ULTIMATE MASTER CARD" with a credit limit of 3.35L pm for Rs. 5,000 + GST. My mum upgraded. Now, as a reward for 20 years of loyalty and usage, @StanChartIN has reduced the credit limit to Rs. 10,000.
