நீட் தேர்வைப் பொறுத்தவரை நீட் தேர்வுமுறை அறவே அகற்றப்பட வேண்டும் என்பதே த.வெ.க.-வின் சமரசமற்ற நிலைப்பாடு. மாணவர்களை மட்டுமல்லாது அவர்களது குடும்பங்களையும் வெகுவாகப் பாதிக்கும் நீட் தேர்வு முறையை வைத்து வாக்கு அரசியல் செய்வதற்காக, பொய்யான வாக்குறுதிகளை நாம் ஒருபோதும் அளிக்கமாட்டோம்.

நீட் தேர்வு போன்றவை ஒழிக்கப்பட வேண்டுமெனில், முதலில் கல்வியை மாநிலப் பட்டியலுக்கு மாற்ற வேண்டும். அது மட்டுமே ஒரே நிரந்தரத் தீர்வாக இருக்க முடியும். ஒருவேளை, அதில் ஏதேனும் சட்ட நடைமுறைச் சிக்கல்கள் இருக்குமெனில், அவற்றை நிவர்த்தி செய்யும் வரை, இடைக்காலத் தீர்வாக, Special Concurrent list உருவாக்கி, அதன் மூலம் மாநில அரசுகளுக்கு அதிகாரம் வழங்க வேண்டும். அதன் வாயிலாகக் கல்வி மற்றும் மருத்துவக் கல்வி உள்ளிட்ட விஷயங்களில் மாநிலங்களுக்கு முழு அதிகாரம் கிடைக்க வழிவகை செய்யப்பட வேண்டும். இதுதான் நிரந்தரத் தீர்வு மற்றும் இடைக்காலத் தீர்வு நோக்கிய நம்முடைய பார்வை. இதை, கட்சி தொடங்கியபோதே, நம் கழகத்தின் சார்பாக நடைபெற்ற கல்வி விருது வழங்கும் விழாவிலேயே ஆழமாக வலியுறுத்தி இருக்கிறோம்.

நம் மக்களின் உணர்வுகளையும் மாணவர்களின் உணர்வுகளையும் ஒன்றிய அரசு மதித்தே ஆக வேண்டும். அதன் வெளிப்பாடாக, நீட் தேர்வு அறவே அகற்றப்பட வேண்டும். இந்தச் சிக்கலுக்கு இது மட்டுமே ஒரே தீர்வு என்பதை மீண்டும் வலியுறுத்துகிறோம்.

Justice C. Kumarappan of #MadrasHighCourt permits DMK Gen Z wing coordinator A. Anbanantham to withdraw his anticipatory bail petition in a case booked under the Indecent Represention of Women (Prohibition) Act and other laws for his derogatory Instagram post against Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay and a film actress besides making references to the CM's wife and son too in the post. He chose to withdraw the petition after the Judge said he is not inclined to grant advance bail because the Instagram post "affects the conscience of the society. He (petitioner) has taken it as a carte blanche." The judge refused to consider grant of relief even if the petitioner files an affidavit of apology and gives an undertaking that he would not speak such things in the future.

Leading a CBSE school for close to 10 years has shown me just how painful it can be to deal with the government machinery.

There are days when you come very close to giving up; not because running a school is difficult, but because you're exhausted from constantly having to give. Even greed should have a ceiling. There has to be a point where they should just live & let live.

Every approval (fire, safety, kitchen, hostel, or any other clearance) seems to come with an expectation of money. Every government meeting happening in the proximity of our school, we are not requested but demanded to provide money, school vans, staff, and other resources.

An example: the FIDE Chess Olympiad in Chennai in 2022. We were instructed to provide a couple of our school vans for advertisement. Huge posters featuring our Chief Minister and the Chess Olympiad branding were put up on our SCHOOL vehicles. A month after the event, when we requested that they be removed, we were told either to leave them as they were or remove them at our own expense (which was not cheap).

What disturbed me even more was hearing government officials openly say that corruption has always existed in TN, but under the current government, they no longer have to hide it or fear getting caught. Those words came from their own mouths.

I'm neither for nor against any political party. But when you endure one blow after another for years, it's only natural to feel relieved, and even celebrate, when the wind changes direction & you finally sense the possibility of a fresh breeze.

உண்மை என்ன ?

இது தவறான செய்தியாகும்.

தமிழ்நாடு அரசு கேபிள் டிவி நிறுவன ஒளிபரப்பில் பாலிமர் செய்திகள், நியூஸ் தமிழ் 24X7 மற்றும் தமிழ் ஜனம் செய்திகள் என்ற மூன்று சேனல்கள் நீக்கப்பட்டுள்ளன என்ற செய்தி தவறானது. சம்மந்தப்பட்ட மூன்று சேனல்களை தொழில்நுட்ப பிரச்சனைகள் காரணத்தால் தற்காலிகமாக சில செட் ஆஃப் பாக்ஸ்களில் மட்டும் ஒளிபரப்பு செய்ய இயலவில்லை. இது தொடர்பாக சம்பந்தப்பட்ட தொலைக்காட்சி சேனல்களுக்கு தகவல் தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளது. இதனை சரி செய்வதற்கு ஒப்பந்தம் செய்யப்பட்ட நிறுவனம் (Mantra Industries Limited) மூலமாக முழுவீச்சில் பணிகள் மேற்கொள்ளப்பட்டு வருகின்றன. செட் ஆஃப் பாக்ஸ் நிறுவனத்திற்கு வைத்திருக்கும் நிலுவை தொகை காரணமாக ஒளிபரப்பு தடை ஏற்பட்டுள்ளது என்பது தவறான தகவல் ஆகும்.
