This has worked really well for us in our early years setting. With recruitment and retention issues a problem across the sector we looked to be more flexible. Our teachers all work 4 days a week. Once a month they all have a 5 day weekend. If they need a day off they swap. 💪

The Irish Findings are as follows:
• 100% of the companies involved are continuing with the 4-Day work week ➡

Therefore the wages I pay have always been better than hers. I know a provider who closed one service in Tallaght this year because the community hall wanted 52k😠

I have to pay my staff statutory 3 days Sick leave plus I have to replace those staff to comply with ratios. We Needed an increase. #WhoWillPay

This does not take into account soaring inflation higher utility costs or our new obligations to pay sick leave. A neutral position is simply not good enough. We needed to see an increase
