உங்கள் பின்னணி (அரசு பள்ளி, தமிழ் வழி) பாராட்டுக்குரியது. லட்சக்கணக்கான மாணவர்களுக்கு அது பொதுவானது. ஆனால் அதே பின்னணியிலிருந்து வரும் மற்றொரு குழந்தையை பொது இடத்தில் அவமானப்படுத்தி ரீலுக்கு பயன்படுத்த உங்களுக்கு அனுமதி தரவில்லை. பலர் அதே அமைப்பிலிருந்து வந்து பின்னர் ஆங்கிலம் கற்றுக்கொண்டார்கள் - அதற்காக ஒரு குழந்தையை கேமராவில் பிடித்து அவமானப்படுத்த வேண்டிய அவசியம் இல்லை.

மீடியா எடுத்தது என்று சொல்கிறீர்கள். சரி. பள்ளி வகுப்பறைக்குள் கேமரா எப்படி வந்தது? “ஆய்வு” என்ற பெயரில் அந்த சிறுமியை அவ்வாறு நடத்தியபோது ஏன் நிறுத்தவில்லை? குழந்தையின் மரியாதையைப் பாதுகாக்க ஏன் நடவடிக்கை எடுக்கவில்லை?

தவறை ஒப்புக்கொண்டு, குறைந்தபட்சம் அந்தச் சிறுமியிடம் மன்னிப்பு கேட்காமல், பழைய பள்ளி புகைப்படத்துடன் நீண்ட அறிக்கை போட்டு இரக்கம் கோருவது தலைமைத்துவமல்ல - அது Damage Control PR.

உண்மையில் அரசு பள்ளி மாணவர்களின் நம்பிக்கை மற்றும் ஆங்கிலத் திறனில் அக்கறை இருந்தால்:

PEN team: A pattern of undermining allies and shaping false narratives

•Systematic targeting of allies rather than opponents
PEN has repeatedly focused its attack machinery on its own political allies instead of directing scrutiny at genuine rivals. Rather than strengthening the alliance, this approach sows mistrust and weakens coalition cohesion at crucial moments.

•Coordinated dirty campaign against Congress
PEN orchestrated a prolonged and aggressive campaign aimed at the Congress party and its leaders. The campaign relied less on policy critique and more on personal attacks, innuendo, and sensationalism designed to erode public confidence.

•Manufacturing a false narrative about Congress’s worth in Tamil Nadu
PEN pushed a sustained narrative that Congress is irrelevant in Tamil Nadu politics and holds no bargaining value. This portrayal ignores Congress’s history, vote share in pockets across the state, and its practical role in coalition politics.

•Use of paid journalists and YouTubers to amplify misinformation
PEN exploited a network of compliant journalists and YouTube influencers to seed and amplify the anti‑Congress narrative. By paying or otherwise incentivizing these content producers, PEN succeeded in creating a widespread but misleading public impression about Congress’s standing in the state.

•Hypocrisy in alliance dependence and public downgrading
The DMK historically has never contested major national elections alone and depends on allies like Congress for broader reach. Yet PEN and DMK leaders repeatedly downgraded and publicly belittled Congress whenever convenient—an exercise in opportunism that damages trust and bargaining relations within alliances.

•Amplification of senior DMK leaders’ abusive rhetoric
Senior DMK figures (including Duraimurugan, Rajakannappan, Trichy Siva, A. Raja, and others) have on multiple occasions used derogatory language toward Congress leaders. PEN amplified these incidents strategically to reduce Congress’s leverage during seat‑sharing negotiations and to reinforce the narrative of Congress’s decline.

•Desecration of Kamarajar’s stature and moral legacy
In a particularly troubling episode, DMK leaders disparaged K. Kamaraj, a leader of national and moral stature in Tamil Nadu. PEN helped magnify those comments via paid media channels, showing a willingness to trample respected regional legacy for short‑term tactical gains.

•Breach of local‑body seat allocations
DMK district secretaries have, on multiple occasions, fielded rebel candidates in seats officially allocated to Congress and other allies during local-body elections. These actions amount to tactical cheating that undermines negotiated seat-sharing agreements and fuels intra-alliance conflict at the grassroots level.

•Arrogant IT wing behavior toward allies
Members of the DMK’s IT wing regularly insult and demean alliance partners online. Their arrogant, provocative messaging escalates tensions and creates public perceptions of disrespect, making cooperative politics more difficult.

•Reluctance to share power in practice
Despite relying on allies electorally, DMK leaders have shown consistent unwillingness to genuinely share power. Key positions, resources, and patronage are often retained within DMK control, leaving allies marginalized even after contributing to electoral victories.

PEN’s pattern—weaponizing media, amplifying allied leaders’ attacks, undermining seat agreements, and tolerating an arrogant online culture—has done lasting harm to alliance trust and to fair political debate in Tamil Nadu. Political communication that prioritizes short‑term advantage over alliance stability and historical respect undermines democratic norms and risks long‑term electoral costs for all involved.

In 1971, Congress gave DMK all the Assembly seats and fought only Lok Sabha. DMK won 184 of 234. DMK’s empire in Tamil Nadu was built on Congress’s generosity from day one.

In 2006, DMK won only 96 seats; no majority. Congress’s 34 MLAs propped up that government for a full 5 years. Without Congress, there was no Karunanidhi government. Full stop.

So Congress wasn’t just an ally to DMK; it was the force that lifted, protected, and legitimized the party at every crucial turning point.

Congress built DMK’s floor in 1971, saved its government in 2006, absorbed the heat of its scandals in 2014, and still continued backing and strengthening DMK’s political empire in Tamil Nadu.

And now a new chapter begins. TVK reached out to Congress first, because they know what DMK forgot:

Congress doesn’t just bring votes, it brings legitimacy, it brings national credibility, and it brings Rahul Gandhi’s movement behind it.

Where is the wall for our three million?

There isn't one.

Because in their telling, we were never quite real enough to mourn.

'நகைச்சுவை' பதிவுகள் தொடங்கி கடுமையான சொல்லாடல்கள் வரை சமூக வலைதளங்களிலும் நம் அன்றாடப் பேச்சுகளிலும் இந்த மனநிலை வெளிப்பட்டுக்கொண்டே இருக்கிறது. நம் இடத்திற்குப் பிழைக்க வந்தவர்களை, நம் வாய்ப்புகளைப் பறித்துக்கொண்டவர்களாகக் கருதும் மோசமான மனநிலை உலகம் முழுவதுமே இருக்கிறது. இதைக் களைவதற்கான ஒரே வழி, மக்களுக்கிடையேயான சகோதரத்துவத்தை வளர்த்தெடுப்பதுதான்.இந்திய அரசியலமைப்புச் சட்டம் உறுதிப்படுத்தியுள்ள தனிநபர் சுதந்திரத்தையும் உரிமையையும் சக மனிதர்கள் ஏற்க வேண்டும், அதுவே அறமும் கூட.

மேலும், பொதுவெளியில் கும்பலாகச் சேர்ந்துகொண்டு ஓர் அப்பாவி இளைஞனைக் கொடூரமான ஆயுதங்களால் தாக்குவதை வீடியோ எடுத்து அதைத் தற்பெருமையாகக் கருதி, சமூக வலைதளத்தில் பகிர்வோர்களைக் காவல்துறை இனங்கண்டு கைது செய்து அவர்களுக்கு அதிகபட்ச தண்டனை பெற்று தர வேண்டும்.

மேலும், சமூக வலைதள மோகத்தில் சிறார்களும் இளைஞர்களும் சமூகத்தில் பதற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்தும் விதத்திலும்,
வன்முறை தூண்டும் வகையிலும் கும்பலாகச் சேர்ந்துகொண்டு ரீல்ஸ் பதிவிடுவதைத் தடுக்கும் வகையில் முன்னெச்சரிக்கை நடவடிக்கையினை ஆட்சியாளர்களும் காவல்துறையினரும் தாமதிக்காமல் முன்னெடுக்க வேண்டும்.

போதை, ஆயுதக் கலாச்சாரம், சமூகப் பிரிவினை எனத் தனித்தனி காரணிகளைக் கொண்டு இப்பிரச்சினைகளை அணுகக் கூடாது. இவை எல்லாமே ஒன்றுக்கு ஒன்று தொடர்புடையவை.
