IQ = consciousness
The more patterns you intuitively connect, the more that you can see there is no conceivable way the universe is formed accidentally
The same pattern echoes through psychology, mythology, religion, mathematics, art, philosophy, and nature
Every discipline begins by studying the world and ends by surrendering to the same axiomatic truth
The aim of every pursuit is, consciously or unconsciously, a return to God
"Design vs code" is a false dichotomy.
What we're working towards at Figma: freeform design AND prototyping with code AND shipping to production
... all in one connected, collaborative and visual first platform.
"The first gulp from the glass of natural sciences will turn you into an atheist, but at the bottom of the glass God is waiting for you."

Indian philosophy has an ancient technical manual for this exact problem.
According to Samkhya (1 of the oldest schools of Indian thought), the mind (Manas), the intellect (Buddhi), & the ego (Ahankara) are all part of Prakriti (Materiality).
If we simulate every neuron, we have successfully copied the Prakriti. In Samkhya, this Digital Copy would be just as material as a physical brain.
However, Samkhya argues that there is a separate principle called Purusha (Pure Consciousness/The Observer). The copy would have a mind, memories, & a personality, but it would be Jada (inert/unconscious) unless it was illuminated by the Purusha.
To an ancient Indian sage, the simulation is a perfect zombie: it looks, talks, & thinks like us, but there is nobody home.
@yajnadevam You are wrong! They are still not there yet. Observing and noticing are the difference. The subtleness is yet to be figured out which can only comes from observing.
