With everything going on lately, I wanted a break from politics and grief, so I sat don with Grok for a conversation on Intelligence, Freedom, Control, and AI development in the pursuit of AGI.
I rather enjoyed this one:

@realstewpeters How much more proof do Americans need that their politicians have been compromised by a foreign nation?
Loyalty to a foreign nation while in public office is a capital offense.
When @elonmusk, the greatest entrepreneur in human history and richest man in the world tells you that the last hope for Britain is a @RestoreBritain government… You should listen.
Americans believe Pride Month should be permanently cancelled
“Happy Pride Month! I mean, what a truly useless celebration. Like, okay, we learned we like **** in our ***. Sounds like something we should be praised for for a month. What a great accomplishment….
None of my accomplishments get praised for a month. I think we should just go back to minding our own fucking business and doing whatever it is we need to do behind closed doors and not pushing it on people. And this is nothing against gay people because I love a lot of gay people.”
This is the truth. We don’t need to celebrate people being gay. We don’t have “straight month”
We don’t have straight people parading through the streets and getting naked in front of little kids because they’re straight
We don’t have straight people trying to indoctrinate kids into being straight, because it’s always natural
We need to permanently ban Pride Month. It’s only an agenda
The Senate is preparing a group of bills they are going to try to move in the House. They need these bills for their re-elections this Nov & yesterday they again failed at passing the SAVE AMERICA ACT. No members should be supporting their bills until they deliver on voter ID.
@LaNativePatriot Not that it makes much difference, but I'm still following along. I tend to appreciate most of your content, when I see it.
This place just turned into a high-school popularity contest real fast.
@AngelaBelcamino Remind them its not about right vs. Left. It's about Right vs. wrong - and they can choose to stop being in the wrong party any time.
It has been a good experience watching you slowly shift your perspective - I'm glad you made it. It's a bold move.
Congrats, you read the first quoted line - which I shared to show that while you might have had a valid point in the 1700s - it is now moot.
Yes, they COULD - IF they amend their state constitutions - but at this point would also require amending the U.S. Constitution.
But that is a hypothetical - they COULD, but until they DO - my original statement is still correct - there is supposed to be separation of church and state on a Federal level, and per every state constitution - on a state level as well.
Or did you conveniently skip over this part:
"The Supreme Court incorporated the Establishment Clause against the states via the 14th Amendment's Due Process Clause in Everson v. Board of Education (1947)."
There's hypothetical, and there's the reality we live in right now.
Could is not the same as is.
Thanks for playing.
Ignorant huh? Try reading and researching - you might just learn something.

"All states eventually disestablished religion by the 1830s, but this was driven by state constitutions and politics, not the First Amendment."
"The Supreme Court incorporated the Establishment Clause against the states via the 14th Amendment's Due Process Clause in Everson v. Board of Education (1947)."

"Challenges often arise in public employment/uniforms (e.g., religious headwear), school curricula, or local funding. Outcomes depend on whether actions appear coercive, endorse religion, or discriminate. The landscape has shifted toward greater accommodation of religion in public life, reducing strict separationism. For the hijab/police uniform context in the original post, neutral accommodations for religious dress are generally protected under Free Exercise (and statutes like Title VII), while outright establishment (e.g., mandating one faith) would likely fail. States retain significant leeway absent federal overreach."
I respect your admiration of the Constitution - but it has evolved since it's initial creation.
I stand behind my original statement.
We are supposed to have separation - doesn't mean we always do.
IMO - Muslim is not a just religion, it is also governing doctrine - and therefore should not be permitted the same accommodation as religions - but that's my opinion.
Yes. It’s amazing that so many conservatives on this site are falling for the most obvious PR rebrand stunt of all time.
Also, Hunter hasn’t even said anything even vaguely interesting or based. He’s on here posting basic shitlib talking points and conservatives are infatuated for some reason.
"In contexts like police uniforms:
Free Exercise often supports reasonable accommodations for religious garb (e.g., hijabs, turbans, yarmulkes) if they don't undermine a compelling interest like safety, identification, or uniformity."
Uniformity - hmm.
Imagine that.
Not part of a police uniform.
