Good step to come out open on these aspects of temple contracts. Few submissions for your kind consideration

1. The government should also restrict jobs of temple and temple contracts to Hindu Society.
2. The Government should bring uniform religious bill for all religions and its establishments regarding law and order, finances and administrative protocols and not focus only the temple.
3. Rituals should be left to respective believers and trusts /devasthanam under qualified members.
4. The culture of families doing temple rituals for generations should be nurtured to protect its authenticity, devotion and commitment to serve. They need support while balancing other inequalities.
5. In long run the government should relieve itself from temples and associated establishments except the critical administrative aspects and ensure framework does not encourage red tapism and bureaucracy hurdles in temple.
6. As for as as provisions of re-negotiations post L1 , you may follow established practices in PSU QCBS bids to allow L1 L2 /H1 H2 to renegotiate.
7. Remove all shop establishments, vehicles inside temple premises and remove Focus Lights from Garbagraha as seen in some temples. The divinity must be protected.

Expired meat, fish & milk found in Bengaluru’s top luxury hotels.

30 teams inspected 26 three-star & five-star hotels across BBMP limits today. 35 food samples collected for lab testing.

Hotels where food was seized:

• The Lalit Ashok – 76 kg meat, 200 kg vegetables & 32 litres expired milk

• Shangri-La Bengaluru – 15 kg meat

• Four Seasons Bengaluru – 19 kg meat

• Vivanta Whitefield – 3 kg expired bakery products

• Taj Yeshwantpur – 72 kg meat/fish

• Radisson Blu (The Atria) – 105 kg expired food (50 kg chicken, 25 kg meat, 23 kg fish, 7 kg vegetables)

Violations included expired food, fungal growth, unhygienic kitchens, misbranding, FSSAI labelling violations and improper veg/non-veg storage. Notices issued; further action to follow after lab reports. #Bengaluru #FoodSafety
