@Empty_America Since I don't have A/C there are a fair number of days when the thermostat in my house is 80 or 81. It's fine. If there's an extended heatwave it can get to 85. It would be nice to be cooler but it's not a safety issue.

@MiriVinni Truth. My kid was a lifeguard. Got to pick his own schedule (on app) so he could swim in A.M. Best part - unlike retail jobs, you are the boss, not the customer, and get to tell people what to do. Not many teen jobs like that.
