After 5+ years, the Supreme Court finally has a woman judge again. Senior Advocate V. Mohana becomes only the 2nd woman lawyer ever directly elevated from the Bar to the Bench — following Justice Indu Malhotra. This is historic.

For the first time, more than 10,000 women have qualified for IIT admissions.

Nearly 1 in 4 female JEE-Advanced candidates cleared the exam in 2026 — the highest pass rate on record.

Since 2019, the number of women qualifying has jumped 89%. In 2018, only 13% of girls who appeared made it through. That figure is now nearly 25%.

Nagarathna, who until a few minutes earlier had been the sole woman judge on the Bench, could not stop herself from applauding. The auditorium had already erupted in thunderous applause.

19 जुलाई को केन्द्रीय विद्यालय न. 1, A.F.S. चकेरी, कानपुर में Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH Act) एवं POCSO Act पर वर्कशॉप का आयोजन किया गया । 150 बच्चों एवं 80 शिक्षकों एवं स्टाफ, प्रिंसिपल, वाइस प्रिंसिपल आदि लोगों की उपस्थिति रही ।
