We’re so proud to have @gretaneubauer leading the fight for the Democratic MAJORITY this cycle. Listen ⬇️ to learn more about the important working happening in Wisconsin this cycle
You need to get to know Greta Neubauer. At 32 (!!), she is the leader of Wisconsin Assembly Dems. The new maps put Dem control of the assembly within reach. She's a big part of the Dem rebound in Wisconsin.
We discussed all this on the pod. 2/

Ugly story unfolding with Robin Vos and Assembly Republicans.
1) Robin Vos blocks postpartum Medicaid expansion for YEARS
2) Greta Neubauer and Assembly Dems go all out to force a vote to pass this bill (and another bill Vos was blocking, on breast cancer screenings) on the last day of the session
3) Republicans *leave the Capitol mid-session* to go to a Jobs First Coalition fundraiser, return to say they'll pass the bill, with swing district representatives trotted out in a press conference to back the bills
4) Jobs First Coalition (run by Robin Vos' wife, Michelle Litjens Vos) puts out ads celebrating the votes from those same swing district Republicans, casting them as bucking party leadership to pass these bills
And you wonder why people become cynical about politics...
NEW: After a big-deal retirement for the GOP in the Assembly, new polling sheds more light on the challenging outlook for Republicans in the midterms.
I've been saying the Assembly is still Lean R. Now, I think it's a Toss-Up.
Let's recombobulate: https://t.co/5zlEdULUOX
I'm running for reelection to represent Wisconsin's Sensational 16th Assembly District. The time to make change is now, and I'm not done fighting for Milwaukee. Will you stand with me? https://t.co/a63fxpH2Ns
It’s clear we have so much more to accomplish. I want to continue to be a leading voice in building universal child care, establishing paid family leave, funding our public schools, cutting costs for working families, and so much more.
Another 4/20 passes without cannabis being fully legalized in Wisconsin. Many Wisconsinites continue to travel to Illinois to legally purchase cannabis products.
The Republican-led Legislature has stalled efforts to move Wisconsin forward on legalization yet again.
Congratulations to Justice-elect Chris Taylor and everyone who is continuing the fight for our rights and our democracy here in Wisconsin. This was a huge win and there are more to come.
Protect Our Water 🌊
For over a year, my colleagues and I have been working to find a compromise to release over $100 million to address PFAS in our state. Today, @govevers put the pen to paper signing into law the bills that would do just that.
TWO WISCONSIN LAWMAKERS MAY BE ILLEGALLY LIVING OUTSIDE THEIR DISTRICTS
Two Wisconsin Republicans may be living outside of their legislative districts and potentially violating state law requiring lawmakers to live within the district they were elected to represent. https://t.co/PofYfXqlup
I want to take a moment to recognize the countless people who fought for and won postpartum Medicaid expansion in Wisconsin. This win means that women in our state will keep their healthcare for a full year rather than 60 days after giving birth. This win will save lives.
Moms and their families, advocates across the state, and Legislative Democrats fought for postpartum Medicaid expansion for years. This week, Assembly Democrats refused to take no for an answer and effectively stopped legislative business to force a vote on this bill.
Assembly Democrats were unified, determined, and frankly, relentless. I am so proud to have been part of this moment and so relieved that we will soon see this critical bill signed into law.
It’s the end of a long week here in Madison, but there is more work for us to do to lower costs for Wisconsinites.
Before the legislative session ends, join me in calling on Republican to do better for the people of our state.
A Democratic trifecta is within reach, and people across WI are energized and ready to help flip the Assembly. Our historic fundraising numbers show that voters are fed up with the partisan games from Legislative Republicans and ready for change.
And more fundraising numbers: @WIAssemblyDems says they raised $1.44 million over the second half of '25 and $1.78 million overall for the year.
Said it's their highest off-year fundraising numbers ever.
See more in today's PM Update.
Yesterday, my Democratic colleagues and I held a press conference acknowledging our firm support for reinstating measures to share video recording of legislative proceedings with constituents in each corner of the state.
Before winter break, I had the opportunity to join the Beloit NAACP in assembling food bags for students in the Beloit School District. Thank you to everyone who showed up to support our kids. Let’s continue that support throughout 2026.
Turns out that people don't like politicians that focus on building gilded ballrooms and tax cuts for the wealthy rather than lowering their costs.
Democrats have real solutions and are ready to compete and win everywhere, especially in Wisconsin. @DLCC https://t.co/cMARwWXITN
